My first impression of Microsoft’s Office365

Well i’ve twice tried to write a detailed article on my first impression of Office365 beta which is Microsoft’s latest ‘Cloud Computer’ offering, but have to admit to being defeated by WordPress which i am rapidly starting to dislike! I’ll just quickly say that i think it is very impressive, and i can see it making a huge impact in the SME market, especially with organisations that have traditionally been using Microsoft’s SBS platform.

Although IT Support companies like ours may be reluctant to talk about moving to ‘The Cloud’, as it will initially have an effect on our revenues by reducing our hardware, software and installation sales, we at Profega are working hard at becoming experts in this new and exciting technology.

System Tool Malware

Well we have now gone out and cleared up five instances of System Tool malware in the past couple of days. I did comment on Twitter only last week that we had seen an increase in the volume of this particular infection, but it seems this infection is speading ever more rapidly.

After a tip off from one of our customers who’s computer was infected, I came across this article http://www.highseverity.com/2011/02/london-stock-exchange-hit-by-malware.html which states the London Stock Exchange’s website has been one of the places which has been infecting computers!!

If you are infected and you would like us to come out and clear it off of your computer, it will take between 1-1.5 hours and costs £45-£65 per computer.
